Under-the-Hill Saloon

Under-the-Hill Saloon is one of the oldest buildings in the area, and its patrons of yesteryear were cut-throats, prostitutes and thieves. The area known as Natchez Under-the-Hill, was once a thriving port where cotton was loaded onto paddlewheelers and shipped North to textile mills for processing. The saloon offers live music on weekends, and occasionally during the week as well. Grab a seat in the rocker on the front porch and catch a magnificent Mississippi River sunset during your visit.
